CJ Poundstone
My name is (Chad) CJ Poundstone and recently moved into Olympia from the Lawrence Lake area outside of Yelm. I grew up in “small-town” Illinois and chased my music dreams, studying Music Education at Illinois State University. I continue to be an avid fan of the fine arts. In 1997, I began my business career as an agent for Prudential Insurance & Financial Services. From the start, financial planning piqued my interests. I had won several company awards for managing assets.
A few years later, I decided to spread my wings and see the world. I joined the U.S. Air Force as an Aircraft Loadmaster, flying cargo and troops all over the world on the C-5 Galaxy. In 2004, I left Dover AFB, DE for the beautiful Pacific NW and McChord AFB. I met my wife, Lisa, in 2007 and we have two beautiful children. In 2009, I left active duty and joined the USAF Reserves, where I continue to serve.
I have always had a keen eye for real-estate, resource management and financial planning. Thus, I decided that a new career in the mortgage industry would satisfy my want to stay engaged in business as well as continuing to be of service to my community. I am also very excited at being a part of, as well as helping to energize our local economy.
